Playerunknown's Battlegrounds: PUBG New Kill Rule - Assist Mechanics Prevent Kill Steals

6/23/2017 5:45:17 PM

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds gets a new Assist-Mechanic. It is designed to prevent team members stealing mutual kills.

Players who are playing the game often in the duo or squad are aware of the problem: You can kill an opponent with difficulty, but the final "kill" is then dumped by one of the other players, thus evaluating your own statistics.
For a long time now, players have already asked for a kind of assist mechanics for the Battle Royale shooter, so that an opponent's downpouring already counts for the statistics. The developers are now following this request.

This is how the upcoming Assist-Mechanik works
As Pawel Smolewski has revealed in a developer live stream, the kill with an upcoming assist mechanic also counts for the player who shot down the opponent when the final kill is done by a team mate. The killing team-mate only gets an assist.
However, the animation and gameplay leader of the developer team also restricts the game: If the opponent's final killing is made by another player who is not a member of his own team, the player gets the kill count.
When this change will flow into the game is not yet known. Perhaps it is already with the next month patch at the end of June so far. In any case, be included in it two new weapons..
