1. when animate guardian dies, all items on the guardian are lost forever. you will have to use new items to make another. please choose items you do not mind losing to be safe.

2. you can also use multistrike, faster attacks, melee splash, life on hit and other such gems with your animate guardian too.

3. how to heal your guardian: remove the gems, then put it back into the socket.

4. if you wan to have a quite powerful guardian, you need to equip the guardian with good helmet, rings, necklace, shoes and coat.

5. the gems can only be used on the melee weapon.

6. guardian can use 2 shields: 1 animated and 1 on youself with necromantic aegis. under the setup, the guardian will be granted with quite high blocking ability.

7. besides, the guardian may release less damage than specters. and you can only summon one guardian at a time.
